Hope all had a great Holiday and now for another year!

For all those in the community of Chadd’s Ridge this will be a pivotal year for our properties. They are all of the age that upkeep is needed, Many of you have done a superb job of keeping your large investment in good shape even added to the value of your home and therefore of the community. However some of the residents have been lacking in this responsibility and hopefully this will be the year of improvements. Many of the homes need driveway repair or painting of the exterior and in my case a new fence.

The Architectural Control Committee should not have to go around and bring this to home owner’s attention. We ask that all keep the curb appeal to the standard the we have enjoyed over the years resulting in increased values.
The neighbors who have moved away would not have gotten the prices they did without the total look of the subdivision.

Things that we can do to keep our properties up are gutter cleaning, exterior painting, pressure washing, landscaping, keeping the street in front of residence clear (Cobb County does not clean our streets—please remove leaves and any other debris from the roadway—this is safety issue), do not park trucks on property (pick-ups allowed), etc.

All of this is in the covenants which all homeowners should read so that there is not questions later.(This also applies to renters and others who occupy a home in Chadd’s Ridge)
