We have decided to go with ProGuard Management. The cost is $11,570 for the 2005 season. The breakdown is as follows: $2960-pool services including all chemical testing and maintenance, keeping pool up to code, liability, cleaning poolside tables and chairs, and restocking pool inventory like trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. $8010-lifeguard services including labor, payroll, taxes, and unemployment. They are responsible for a lifeguard being available and on time; there are back-up plans to keep this enforced. $600 for opening and closing. They will get the pool ready for spring and winter maintenance for an added cost of only $510. They have great references and are an excellent price. We plan to open May 14 with the pool hours (lifeguard on duty) 11-5 and closing day will be September 18. It is going to be a great summer!!
