March 2009 CRHOA Meeting Minutes
Below are the minutes from the March Chadds Ridge Homeowners Association (CRHOA) Meeting. These minutes were collected by our secretary Amy Rethman and submitted to the board as well as the homeowners.

71 houses paid, 100 still owing—dues trickling in, but sign up front should be a reminder.
$18,000+ in bank currently—still in good shape.

no one present-still waiting for information on CPA
Nominations Committee

*Positions up for re-election:
2009 Director (1year term), 2010 Pres and Treas (2 year term), 2011 Vice-Pres and Secretary (3 year term)
-at least 4 people should be on the committee, maybe extend the invite to the block captains to start off.
-director position-active participant in the board.
-give the board the content, nominees, etc so the board can make the annual proxies (due by April)

-coming soon: link for neighborhood business owners for advertising
-posts for committees to have their own “blog” –you can make them in advance to show up when you want
-Link for homes that have warnings from ACC
-could we get forms online (able to fill in and send back online)
Capital Improvements

**new legislation in place
-new grates for 2 drains, a dive to measure the distance between the grate and the drain and let us know if they have to drill further down. USA Pools thinks there is no distance issue and it should only cost $1200 at the high end for the dive and grates. There are no federal inspectors, but IF we were inspected and fined it would be $5 million dollars.
Planning on doing it close to pool opening.—schedule for 2 weeks before pool opening: APPROVED by board
-fencing needs to be stained
-remove the white fence on Shallowford: lets pull up the fence since the trees are big enough.
**Board will notify homeowners that it is coming up**
-cracks in tennis courts are being filled by homeowners ASAP (3/16, 3/17), rendering good weather

Yard of the Month—ask Victoria Barella if she would want to do it again
Yard Maintenance—JoAnn Sabotar will set boundaries as to what has to be done
-call Glenn Kristan, $75 for cutting Shallowford road only

-flyer going out for stream clean-up to houses with streams
